Early NY
Digging into my arsenal of old tricks, I was carrying on what I started doing in Toronto now here in my first days here in New York.
8 years…and on.
A little late on this post however, mid October marks my anniversary of when I left Canada to come to The States. This year marked the 8th year of my time here. I’ve grown incredibly since that time, met some of my best friends, and experienced some incredible moments. My work today is a culmination of all of that.
I can still remember the anxiety, fear, and uneasiness of it all right before I left like it was yesterday. Was I doing the right thing or not? Saying yes and accepting the challenges that lay ahead ultimately was the right choice and my work would not be where it was today without taking the plunge.
A photo from my early days shortly after I arrived here in New York doing some street portraiture circa 2004.
Keep it simple…
I often get looks when I normally just show up on a shoot with just my tripod and camera in hand. People think I use a lot of equipment but often that is my setup. Doing more with less.

Back at it
After slacking a bit during the holidays I’m getting back into work slowly but surely. Looking to improve on the previous years as always.

Classic Black and White
A series I shot recently that makes me think of classic Parisian black and white fashion photos from back in the day. More new work on the way!!!
