Debora/Luana
January marks the start of fashion week in Brazil. Sao Paulo fashion week kicks off January 9th in Rio and moves to Sao Paulo on the 16th before making it’s way to NY in early February.
Debora and Luana’s show cards for Brazil are up and thought I’d share two of my favorite models cards with you.

September rolls in
September marks the unofficial start of the new season. After a summer of vacations, it’s back to work, back to school, back to regular hours and busy again. There is a renewed energy in the air, with the show season kicking off shortly in New York. Here is a quick rundown of the shows here.

Brazilian Girls
Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I’ve been pretty busy and major website updates are in the works.
I came across this adorable photo of two of my favourite models Luana Teifke (left) and Débora Muller. Working with Brazilian models has produced consistently good results for me. Perhaps it’s their easy out going nature that really clicks with my style…or maybe I was from Brazil in a previous life!

Loving Debora and Luana
Getting some more publicity love here.
I’m glad this shoot is getting some love, it’s been one of my favorite shoots of all time. it was the right mix of the right people and great images. When shoots go this well it doesn’t feel like work at all, more like a bunch of friends hanging out and having a good time. I appropriately named the editorial “Feel Good Lost” paying homage to Broken Social Scene’s first LP and my Canadian roots. It still makes me smile thinking about this shoot.

My Little Débora!
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with my favourite model Débora Müller since she was just 17 years old, and is now transforming into a beautiful woman right before our very eyes. The success and accolades coming her way now could not have happened to a nicer person I know. I couldn’t be happier or more proud of her.
