all your summer songs

Summer has unofficially returned to the northeast. It marks a time when I’ve traditionally done some of my best work. The long days and warm temperatures are welcomed as the cold winter months are still fresh in my memory. 

I am hoping to make the most of it again this summer, as I am always looking to shoot more work to strengthen my book and website, I am also looking forward to shooting more personal work, which seemed to have escaped me in summers past. The great thing about personal work is that you are uninhibited by others, only bound your own timetable. There is a certain level of freedom when it comes to shooting personal work, its just picking up a camera and going, and seeing what happens.

With photography as an occupation there is an certain expected outcome of what you produce and capture, and with it comes less spontanety at times. Shooting personal work is freeing with no expectations other than to go out there and do it.
